Vayle Enterprise ("we", "us") operates vayleenterprise.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We are based in the United Kingdom and process data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
WHAT WE COLLECT
We collect information you give us directly:
Name, email address, WhatsApp number and Telegram username when you apply to become an IB
Email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or request the IB Starter Guide
Any details you include in messages to us
We also collect limited technical data automatically through our website provider (Squarespace): IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring site. This is used for site security and basic analytics.
WHY WE USE IT
To respond to your application or enquiry (legitimate interest and steps before entering a contract)
To send you the guide or newsletter you asked for (consent, which you can withdraw at any time)
To send occasional marketing about IB partnerships, tools and content (consent)
To keep the site secure and understand how it is used (legitimate interest)
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with partner brokers unless you ask us to introduce you, in which case we will tell you first.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
Squarespace, which hosts the site and stores form submissions and newsletter contacts
Email service providers we use to send newsletters
Partner brokers, only where you have asked us to make an introduction
Professional advisers or authorities where required by law
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Applications and enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact
Newsletter contacts: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you
Technical logs: as retained by our hosting provider, typically no more than 12 months
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, or receive a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
