Does it cost anything to become an IB?
No. There is no joining fee. IBs are paid by the broker from the trading costs clients already pay.
Do my clients pay more because of me?
On standard structures, no. Clients trade on the broker's normal account types and your rebate comes out of the broker's share. We explain exactly how each structure works on the strategy call.
How much can I earn?
It depends entirely on how many active clients you have and how much they trade. We do not promise figures. We will show you how rebates are calculated so you can model it realistically for your own audience.
Do I need to be a profitable trader?
No, but you do need to be honest and add real value to your clients. IBs who look after their clients keep them trading longer, and that is where the income comes from.
Do I need a licence?
Rules depend on your country and on what you do beyond referring clients. We cover this in our guides and on the call, and we recommend you take your own advice for your jurisdiction.
How and when do I get paid?
Rebates are tracked in your IB portal and paid by the broker on its normal schedule. You can see every lot and every payment.
