What We Look for in an IB Partner (and How to Get Started Fast)
Thinking about applying? Here is exactly what we look for in a partner, why you do not need a big audience, and how to get set up quickly.
People ask us what we look for before they apply. Usually because they think they need thousands of followers or a proven track record. They do not. Here is what actually matters, and how to go from application to live IB link in days.
- Audience size is not the point. Whether your audience trusts you is.
- Starting from zero is fine. We have set people up from nothing and we have a plan for it.
- What helps most: a clear offer, an honest picture of where you are, and using the system we give you.
- The application takes two minutes. We reply within two working days, then a short call, then setup.
What we care about
Every IB we bring on becomes part of the relationship we have with our partner brokers. That relationship is what gets our partners better terms than they would get walking in alone, so we look after it. In practice that means we look for a few simple things. None of them require fame, money or a big following.
1. An audience that already asks you questions
A Telegram group of 80 people who message you every day is worth more than a channel of 20,000 that never reacts. The real question is: when you recommend something, do people act on it? If yes, you are already most of the way there.
"I run a 150 member gold signals group. Around 40 are active daily and I get DMs most days asking which broker I use."
2. A clear offer
Signals, education, a community, copy trading. We do not mind which. We mind that you know. A clear offer makes the broker recommendation slot naturally into something people already want from you, which is why partners with one offer onboard clients faster.
"I teach a breakout strategy on YouTube and I want to recommend a broker to the people who go through my free course."
Not sure which offer fits your audience? That is one of the things we work out with you on the call.
3. An honest picture of where you are today
"I have no clients yet but I have a plan" is a perfectly good application. So is "I have 30 traders in my personal network and nothing else." Everything we set up for you is built around your real starting point, so the more accurate it is, the better the setup.
"Starting from scratch. About 30 traders in my network. I want to build a small community around them first."
4. Openness to using a system
We give partners an onboarding flow, message templates and a retention process. They exist because they work. The partners who do best use them first and adapt later. You do not need experience, you need to be willing to follow a process for the first few months.
5. Seeing it as a business
The IB model rewards consistent work over months: onboarding, answering questions, keeping people active. Partners who understand that do well even with a small audience, because the income compounds as the client base grows.
Things people worry about that do not matter
Small and engaged beats large and quiet every time. Ten active clients is a real starting point.
You do not need to be. You need to be honest and useful to the people you bring in.
Most of our partners had not. That is what the onboarding system and the call are for.
There is no fee to work with us and no capital needed. IBs are paid by the broker.
A few things that make setup smoother
None of these stop you applying. They are just things we will work through together, so it helps to know them upfront.
- Keep content educational. Brokers and regulators do not allow earnings promises. We will show you how to talk about the IB model and about trading in a way that keeps your account safe.
- Give us real numbers, even small ones. Your starting point shapes which broker structure we recommend. Zero is a fine number.
- Have a rough idea of your offer. Even one sentence. We refine it with you.
- Tell us where your audience is. Brokers support different regions, so this decides which partner broker fits you best.
Not ready yet? Apply anyway and say so. We will tell you what to build first and you can come back when it is in place. Some of our best partners started with a conversation, not a client list.
How to fill in the application
The form asks seven things. Here is how to answer the ones that matter.
| Question | What helps |
|---|---|
| Where is your audience? | Platform and rough size. "Telegram, 150 members, about 40 active" is perfect. |
| How many traders can you reach? | The range that is true today, not the one you are aiming for. |
| What do you want to build? | One or two sentences on your offer and where you want to be in six months. We read this one most carefully. |
| Telegram or WhatsApp | Include one. The call happens there and it speeds everything up. |
No pitch deck, no screenshots, no promises. Just a clear picture of who you are and what you want to do.
